Does anyone on here do them?
It's years since I've done a jigsaw, I used to be mad keen when I was younger.
I had a look on a jigsaw website, they're not cheap, the price of the jigsaw and the board/mat to build it on 😮😮
Thought it might help to break the boredom 😉😂

It's a shame the High Street shops are shut jellybean as the charity shops used to be a really good source of jigsaws. I do one very occasionally and usually like Ravensburger or Gibsons as the pieces fit together well. They're a good way to pass the time as you can get quite engrossed once you start. My mum does quite a lot of jigsaws, mainly from charity shops but she has also bought them from Barney's in Grasmere as they have a big range and delivery cost isn't too bad - I think about £4 for up to 2 x 1000 piece puzzles or £7 for 3 or more puzzles. Amazon might be cheaper though. It's handy if you know a few people near you who also do them as you can swap once they've been done. Not possible at the moment though

Thanks jellybean. Meant to say that I think you can also do them free online. Not sure how it works though.

What do you put yours on Sue, do you have one of the jigsaw boards that fold up, trouble is they only hold 1000 pieces.

Yes I use one of the fold up ones, the jigsaws I do are the 1000 piece ones and when I've finished for the night, I fold it up and put it under my sofa. Worth buying

I've not done one for a long time, another thing that has fallen by the wayside when fun had been made of my "old woman's" interests. I couldn't do one now, though. Loki would take off with and chew the pieces to pieces.

I LOVE jigsaws! Our bowls club members bring them in and we 'rent' them for a £1 to bring in a bit of money for the club, also books. I also get them from charity shops but rarely buy them new. You can do them online for free. Not the same but here's a couple of sites you might like to have a look at. thejigsawpuzzles.com/www.jigsawplanet.com/

Try the Wizigig ones where the final picture is not the one on the box

I think jigsaws are now a generation thing, as Hezz mentioned. I imagine most young people would rather play games on their phones or computers. I used to do them quite often when I was younger and it's been a few years since I did one, although I was quite proud of my achievement when I completed it after only a few days, as it said 3-5 years on the box!

I used to do them when I was younger, cant remember the last time that I saw one. Are you able to create one of your own jellybean? Get a picture, draw out the pieces, cut them out and there is your own one!
