Hello and Happy Holidays!
I have a question, I have a male and female budgie about a year old. About 3 days ago the weather was warm enough for them to go outside for a few minutes for fresh air, however the wind picked up quickly after about 30 minutes with a pop up passing storm, I brought them both back inside, but the winds kept coming, next day, my female instead of a normal chirp now does a squeaking sound. I thought maybe she caught a chill so 2 days, I have had them partially covered to stay warm, she is eating, and flying around to excersie, she and her mate act as normal as they would playing, preening and such. This is day 3 she still sqeaking. Any idea as to what this is? Is this a female vocalization thing possiblly or caught a cold? Has no discharge or anything to my eye as to issues. Thank you.

It's hard to say for sure whether this could be a problem or not. You are best contacting a vet and asking for guidance there, I feel.

Contact a vet ASAP, if it's a respiratory issue which is my guess, she needs antibiotics sooner rather than later.
