Hi everyone, I hope you guys can help me out. I am unsure of my one budgie's mutation and gender. It looks like a lacewing budgie to me, but I'm no expert yet. Predominantly white, with cinnamon markings on the wings. Light blue on the chest and back. White tail. Cheek spots are silverish. Thanks in advance, Mieke

Sky blue cinnamon spangle is my opinion. In the last photo, does he have a dirty face or is he a yellow-faced as well. It would be single factor if he does have any yellow-face gene. None of the other photos show any signs of it.

None of the other photos show any signs of it. He's not yellow-faced at all. The only colors he has is white, blue, cinnamon, and the silver cheek patches. I think it's mostly just bad lighting in the last photo. These things are confusing still haha. I hope you don't mind all my questions, but what would the main differences be between a lacewing budgie and a sky blue cinnamon spangle?

His wing markings are brown so he is a cinnamon, which is a diluting mutation. The wing markings are also what are classed as spangle. His base colour looks to be sky blue.

Lovely lovely bird I gotta say when I looked at the post's heading, I thought he was going to be a green bird because of his name LOL! Great name but why Wasabi?

Yeah, his name definitely doesn't fit the visual profile haha. Hmm, how to explain... I chose Wasabi because of his/her (still confused on that one tbh) attitude and crazy level of sass: Adorable chill bird that has never bitten anyone, but at times can be such a hotheaded drama queen and is full of surprises lol. I guess long story short, the burn you get from this Budgie's sass, is not that of pepper
