I'm a new budgie owner now but I had a pair when I was in grade school and I fell in love with them. Hope to learn more about them so I can take the best care of them. They are both young, the green one the youngest baby and likes to hang out at the bottom of the cage although she has been on the perch with the other. The blue likes to climb and explore and test out the toys in the cage. Should I make a little habitat on the bottom of the cage for the green or let it get used to the cage and where the food and water is so that it can find it's way?

Hi will2birds, welcome to the forum. The little one on the bottom has nothing to perch on, with a cage this size you should optimise the space. Perches near the bottom and middle will make the birds explore their surroundings more. Natural wood perches are the best. Do your little ones have names?

How old is the green budgie? Also add a couple of ladders so that this little one can go up onto a perch if it wants to. Tall narrow cages such as this aren't the best for budgies - they need width rather than height to be able to flit around inside the cage.

I was going to say also that a ladder or two leading up to perches would be good. Also add a couple toys down low for the baby to play with. Hope you have a lot of fun with them! Stop back in often and tell us how you and they are getting along.
