Hello! I am new to this forum and I am on my cell phone so photos are attached below. I have two new budgies and I think they are both yellowface type 2, but I would appreciate some more educated opinions - especially on the lighter male. Is he just sky blue or turquoise from the yellow blending into his body feathers? The yellow is pretty accurate in these photos (depending on your computer monitor I suppose) - deep yellow but not quite goldenface. And is the darker one just cobalt? Is there some violet in there? He/she (still confirming in the genders section) has a few different colors in the body feathers, some lighter turquoise too which I think may also be the type 2 yellow blending in there? Thanks in advance for your time and advice! ibb.co/3sP3JGQibb.co/Qdb0mCNibb.co/TWqn3hp

I agree with the yellowface type 2. I do think the bird on the left may be violet (time will tell with that). I don't think the bird on the right is sky blue but cobalt. The yellow is going to make the blue that blue/green colour. A sky blue would be much lighter again. I'd be confident to say that this bird is male; can't see the cere of the left bird well enough to say.
