I cancelled my Amazon Prime a few weeks ago I binge-watched The Stranger on Netflix. It's a dramatisation of a Harlan Coben novel. Quite good. I'm giving Innocent a watch on ITV. Starts now.

We have started watching the new series of Killing Eve, which I love. Also for humour although it gets a bit daft, Gordon, gino and fred are funny. Also celebrity SAS are you tough enough is good.

blue48 Shirls I too like Garden Rescue - I never really liked Charlie D either but I've felt sorry for her lately as he mother was one who died in that awful tsunami in Asia since then I've softened to her a bit as she really battled depression Loving all the TV suggestions though! Am watching Blood at the moment, finished the first series and about to start the 2nd. At the start of the lockdown I watched all of the Merlin series's (OH didn;t approve) but it was easy going TV if you like Fantasy and escapism That TV series Wisting was exceptional though! Really enjoyed that

watched the penultimate in this series of Outlander yesterday.. it was a NO.... when it ended, I need to see another few minutes, lol. I just hope next week explains some. They are doing another season but obviously delayed.
I would read the books but they are only loosely following those, with the TV series, so no point..
it is fascinating as it mixes real history with the fantasy story lines

I read some of the Outlander books and watched quite a lot of the TV series, then for some reason I went right off Claire and she started to annoy me Jamie though 😍 I'm a bit annoyed that I've watched Innocent before, but it was good so I'm watching it again,

Yes, agree. I’m now intrigued with what happens to Bree and Roger.
I know, but I couldn’t face it again. There must be so much more they could put on. I’m finding it a bit boring. I’m into house programmes as well now. I like your house made perfect

I've read all the Outlander books, never watch the movie or series of anything I've read. Too much good stuff left out and too much made of trivial incidents or completely fabricated to make for interesting screening. I do think the book series may have gone on slightly too long ...

I'm impressed with the BBC adaptation of His Dark Materials and can't wait for the second series. I thought the film that was made some years ago was rubbish. I know what you mean about books being adapted for TV and films, they are usually a disappointment. Lord of the Rings was great but so much was left out. The Hobbit wasn't great in my opinion.

I watched the whole series of Merlin too samwiseg. It's back on normal T.V.now as well, and for something a little on the lighter side it's brilliant. I have started watching it again on catch-up. For those of you that liked the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, that has been televised, (I think) but I watched the video - again lots of bits missed out from the book, still worth watching though. So if you want to read the book it's excellent.

Totally agree! I too liked His Dark Materials, could imagine the books being really good too so cant wait for that to come out again on TV. I also loved Carnival Row...but you can only watch that if you have Amazon Prime. I had a trial of it not long ago and watched the lot! Thats a good one if you like fantasy stuff

If anyone likes American crime dramas, there are plenty of episodes of Law & Order being shown daily on 5USA. I also been watching/recording loads of A Place In The Sun episodes on the various 4 channels and HGTV.
