Hi all, I brought my baby budgie home 2 days ago. I thought he was brave, but actually I think he might be sick. He's been lethargic and generally non-moving. He ate some millet and possibly some greens towards the end of the second day. I noticed that since I brought him home, his tail has been raised a bit. Today, when I moved his cage to the living room from my bedroom, he stretched, made a big green poop, then stayed in this position with his eyes closed. Can someone please tell me what's wrong? Should I go to the petstore about this?

What is the green thing lying in the corner of the cage?

Looks like a piece of lettuce or something, jellybean. Please get this bird to a vet (avian) asap. It could be simply stressed out from the move or it could have been seriously ill beforehand. Do you know how old it is? Also meantime try getting a little fluid into its beak. Staying hydrated is more important than food.

Agree with Hezz, please take this budgie to an avian vet. They do not look very well.
