We got home a couple of hours ago and as soon as she got into my bedroom she started eating! I was so surprised. Sol went crazy to see her, so much so I had to give him some ‘time out’ in the cage whilst Sky had a little rest by herself  I am so happy to have her home. Her tweet is a bit croaky because she hasn’t really tweeted whilst at the vets they said, but she’s done some tweets here so hopefully it’s just where she hasn’t spoken and hopefully nothing to do with the mass. As I’m typing this she just flew to my head so looks like she hasn’t forgotten me!  thank you everyone for all of your kind words and well wishes xxx |

She's probably a bit croaky from her crop feeds, Becca. Having a tube stuck down her throat every day will have caused a small amount of discomfort. So, so happy for you that she is eating and enjoying her proper place in your room. Give her a big kiss from me!  |

Oh wow I had no idea, that makes sense then! I feel relieved knowing that it’s probably from that because I was thinking the worst... I am surprised she’s not super grumpy after everything she has been through, who knew budgies can be so resilient. Thank you Marianne for making the photos bigger can anyone spot Sol in the last photo? |

I'm so glad she's home, and that she's eating.

Ohhh bless her, i'm playing catch up a bit. I'm so pleased little Sky is rallying, what an ordeal for you both  . She certainly looks better than she did in the first picture. We have everything crossed here for her mintysowner |

Thank you for the lovely messages clt80 I think she loved the banner  I had to take it down because i used sellotape and Sol was ready to get it stuck to his beak... I just received a copy of Sky’s x-ray’s I thought you’d all like to see, it made me feel a bit emotional! how fascinating is it?!  |
