Sunday is Mother's Day in the USA. whether you are a mom or a child celebrating/remembering your mom, I hope you have a happy and peaceful day!!! This year will be a very subdued day in terms of celebrations - no family gatherings, dinners at mom's favorite restaurant, church services as a family or the many other ways families celebrate the day. Hopefully all are safe. Here's a picture of my mom with some roses from my garden. I don't have many memories of her because she died when I was very young but I treasure what I do remember about her.

Looks like I posted this in the wrong place - I didn't scroll down far enough to see the complete list of forums. Sorry about that.

That's a beautiful photo and the roses are lovely too xxx
Even though it's not Mother's Day in the UK I'm sure all of us will be thinking about our mum's today.

Lovely. I think you Mum resembles our Queen when she was very young.

Lovely. I think you Mum resembles our Queen when she was very young. I thought that too. I recently saw a photo of the Queen in a boiler suit, standing in front of a car during world war 2. She looked very similar

Thank you, everyone. It was a beautiful day in Southern California. The birdies helped with the celebration by sitting on my finger and eating some millet. And they didn't squabble!

Mother's Day came and went without any recognition from my family this year - I was on the road doing a nine-hour drive. Fun, NOT!

I agree with willowsmum! You'll have to treat yourself Hezz! After that long trip, put your feet up, enjoy your favorite beverage and let the budgies cheer you up and celebrate with them.

Thanks you, willowsmum and tweetiepiesmom. I did get to connect with a niece in Amsterdam as I stayed the night at her parents' house. That was special in itself.
