Hey it's me again ^^"
I had been observing Tequila for a while now and he always seems very anxious. Like even when he's 'resting' he's anxious. I don't even need to interact with him to cause his breathing to become very aggressive. I've filmed it and sometimes he just looks like he's about to give up but then movement causes him to jump back up again. It's been that bad for a few days now. Yes I will be taking him to the vet as soon as I find one that interacts with birds and is currently open. In a previous post I have mentioned that our local vet only gives them so much of a glance and then gives me some medicine and tells me to do it at home. I've noticed the breathing mostly during out of cage time but also when he's inside. He eats and drinks very well too
Some general facts that may or may not help :
He can't fly, when we got him his wings were clipped and I feel as if they were clipped way too much. Bad job done. He is pretty active otherwise, climbing around. He just can't fly with the flock. He is well accepted by my other budgies, just doesn't let them go near him. Sometime's when he'll feel like it, he seeks attention from Tucker but Tuck doesn't always want to be around him.
Here's the video :
