Not sure BB, I think it's a long time since he saw another budgie. My gang are insane!

I think they would have to be streets away before they didn't/couldn't call to each other. Even with quarantining Sparky downstairs with the other two upstairs they still called out all the time.

Absolutely. Mine call to any birds that fly past the window and any bird like sound on the radio or telly-box.

Charlie is using the iodine block now so hopefully that will help keep his beak down a bit.

When is he coming out for a fly? Fly, Charlie, fly! We have given him a go twice in the passageway and he can't really keep in the air for long. Since we did though though he's been exercising his wings in his cage and holding on to the perch flapping. I believe this is what chicks do to strengthen their wings ready for flight. Too dangerous for him currently to be given any full roam of a room. I'll probably let him loose in one of the larger cages for a bit before that happens so he can at least fly from end to end.

Does he know how to step up? Nope. That is in progress too! He's hopped on the stick a few times but he wont do it all the time and clearly doesn't want to!

Sounds like you are looking after him wonderfully! Lets hope his beak wears down a bit now - and great that he is having a bit of a fly too

It would be great for Charlie to have a good fly. Just plenty of practise to strengthen up those muscles. Will do him the world of good.
