This is Kevin... Or Dave.. Not decided yet and it may change if you guys don't agree that he's a he, about 8 weeks old.

From that picture I'd say he is definitely a HE.
What a little beauty. Congratulations on your new addition.

Thanks jellybean I was fairly confident, but needed a more experienced opinion. He's a wee cracker and not too shy. X

I just picked him up this morning, so 4 whole weeks before Stuey gets to meet him. I felt that now was a good time because I'm working from home and I can have plenty of time to split between them. I can't wait to see how Stuart reacts to a new kid on the block. This wee guy is already eating greens, which I've never managed to get Stuart to do, so I'm hoping he will be a good influence too. Lol

Definitely Kevin now. Although Mouse would have been a good name.... He literally scuttles about the cage, across bars, hanging from the roof, he's absolutely nuts, and no fear. I can't get him to step on my finger. He doesn't try to get away, just shuffles to the side and puts one leg on the side bars. He even 'stands firm when I press against his chest to try to get him to step up. This boy is a challenge and cheeky with it! He let's me rub his chest and scritch his neck, so he's not at all scared of me.
I've a rule that he doesn't get out the cage until he's stepping up so he may be there a while lol.

He sounds like a right little character reenie. Sam used to do that hanging from the roof stuff, he still does from time to time, they're so much fun, hope him and Stuart hit it off.

Kevin is gorgeous. I hope he gets the idea about stepping up soon. He does sound like a character.

Thanks criswell he's stepping up on a stick fine now.... Just not my finger! I even let him have a fly around today, and he stepped up consistently, and allowed me to put him back in the cage. Bright wee dude this one. I really appreciate the support and information from everyone on this forum, so thank you everyone.

Congratulations reenie on the new flock addition! I got Buddy in Feb to keep Tweetie Pie company. Unfortunately Buddy had a respiratory infection so he was in quarantine longer than normal. Buddy was hand tame and ate his greens. When I put Tweetie Pie and Buddy together, Tweetie Pie saw Buddy eating the fresh foods so he tried them. Now both chow down on their chop and grass. I'm sure Kevin will teach Stuart to eat the fresh foods and even that hands are not so scary.

That's what I'm hoping for tweetiepiesmom Stuart can teach Kevin to go on my hand and Kevin can get Stuart eating his veggies. They're both bringing something to the party. Still, I'm only a few days in, so it'll be interesting to see how far I get with Kevin before the big meet!

Thank you samwiseg I haven't posted for a while, but I do pop in and out now and again. I'm really excited with Kevin, but I think he may have scaly face.... Just noticed some flakiness on his cere today... Just as well I followed quarantine!
