For a while now, one of my little budgies has been quite sleepy and has had odd colored stool, I tried to spend as much time observing as I could, and i was relieved to find he was still eating and drinking, but lacked the ability to talk. Because this happened during Lock-down as well as the act that there's no avian vets near me, I tried ti just make him as comfortable as possible. Yesterday, I became extremely worried because I saw he was tripping and struggling to balance, I initially thought that he was too weak to go on, but I realised it was because he was limping on one foot. This is terrible timing, because he's just began to talk again, and while still very tired, has started becoming more social. Yesterday, i tried t re-organise parts, make it easier for him. And he ate and drank sufficiently, but he's getting tired again, and isn't trying as hard. So he didn't starve, I put his favorite food in (millet sticks) but even then, he only ate a bit and almost fell on top of it. I'm really stuck, and am not sure what to do. I usually give them Carrots, celery, Trill's seeds and every 4 days, a millet stick. They're very fussy eaters, and refuse to eat other fruits and vegetables i try to introduce. There are two other budgies as well, the sick budgie is called Pineapple, and is about 3 years old.
They live in an indoor large cage, and I only really get a chance to take it down into the garden in the heat of the summer, which makes me wonder if it's a vitamin D problem? I don't have UV lights but I've never really had this problem before. I'm not sure what to do.
