Hello all, I have a budgie in my flock that I have had for a couple years now. She has only gotten sick once in these past years but recovered just fine.
Now, a couple years later, her shape has changed significantly, like her breast bone is significantly more visible and there is a lump that has formed towards her rear end. I weighed her and she really has not changed weight but the way her breast bone is starting to show made me think she is losing weight. It is the spring so it is possible that she might be egg bound because we do have males in the flock.
I am so lost on what is going on. Can anyone help me?

Please include some photos so that we can see what you mean. How much does she weigh? If she has a lipoma or tumour that is obviously going to account for some of her weight, so it is very possible that while she may still weigh the same, the weight distribution may not be. If you can feel her keel sharply, then she is too thin.
