Hello, can someone please tell me what is this under my Budgies eye, and how to cure it? Its a young female Budgie, and a local vets don't know what it is. One of them told me to put some water on the growth and try to remove it. That just doesn't sound right to me. Thanks a lot!

It could be scalyface, can we see a better photo?

My first thought was that it might be scaly face, but the beak and cere don't seem to be affected. Perhaps the vet thought it might be something stuck on the budgie's feathers, maybe food if the bird was being hand raised, which is why they suggested trying to soak it off the feathers.
A clearer and closer photo may help us understand what we are looking at.

It was vet for small animals. I can not find Avian Vet here in Serbia, for now, I will search more. Today I went to some pet shop, and they gave me some cream which cures inflammatory problems. I don't think that will help but I will try. Another problem with my little bird is that she will move her feet up and down (not moving left or right) ALL THE TIME. I don't know what the reason might be, but looks like she has the same thing on her legs

Oh, yes, a rather bad case of scaly face. It sounds like her legs/feet are affected as well. As she has rather a heavy load of mites, it is not surprising that she has it in both places. Marianne Marlow has given you the link for the treatment you need, any other birds you have will need to be treated as well. Your original photo could not be blown up to give a good view of your hen's face, poor little girl, but with the correct treatment she should be feeling better in a very short time. You may find that you need to give her one or two doses more than the prescribed three (one each week for three weeks) because of how heavy her infestation is, but that shouldn't a problem. With each treatment give her whole cage, perches etc a good deep clean as well to kill off any mites that might not be on their host as the time. As her treatment progresses you should find that her marching on the spot stops altogether. Her legs and feet probably feel horrible at the moment. In the meantime, while waiting for your ivermectin to arrive, you can smear some petroleum jelly/vaseline over her feet and legs, even her face growths as long as you don't get it in her eyes or nostrils. This will help to block the tunnels that the mites make into the skin and can suffocate the mites. It may help her feel a little more comfortable.

I'm sure someone will post to Serbia, you just need to find them. Will Amazon?? Good luck finding the treatment, in the meantime try using the vaseline.

I have found ivermectin, but it is 1%. If I don't find the 0.1% one, I might buy the 1% and add water to it, maybe that would work.

Does anyone else have a website that they use that would possibly post to Serbia, anyone?? Please, we need some help here.

I hear you nikae since i am from Macedonia and here we also have such problems. I googled a little and all i could find was this page that ships drugs to other countries (there is a "Serbia" in the "choose your country" box). I hope she gets well soon. Xx
