Good afternoon; I know I already posted a thread on this subject, but last time the logical explanation I agreed on was that he was moulting... Right now it doesn't seem like it (I can barely see any feathers at the bottom of the cage).
Also, this is important, he is eating, drinking, playing and singing like usual, just once a day this happens for about twenty minutes.

How old is he? I ask because my bud went through this a few weeks ago. I'm friendly with his breeder who came round and had a look at him and said as he's 9 months old and coming into his maturity he was just 'practicing' regurgitating. He's fine now and not doing it any more.

Moulting isn't going to affect what is going on in his mouth or crop. Does it happen after he has had a feed? Something not going down as it should - maybe he isn't good at husking his seeds very well and gets one caught in his throat, or as blue48 has mentioned, practicing being an adult.

It happens completely at random, so not after eating. If he isn't able to husk his seeds properly then it's a problem, I don't think there is a diet that gets rid of seeds
