Evening all, I'm hoping you can advise on the mutations of some budgies. In particular the pale green/yellow, the other 2 probably aren't photographed well enough. I'm on my phone so may need to post and then add photos. I believe the pale green one to be a girl and my guess is a sky blue cinnamon opaline spangle and the other 2 to be boys who apart from dominant pied (and thats a guess because of the blank patch on the backs of their heads). The normal green I'm not worried about.

Starting with the pieds, only one is a dominant pied. The other is a clearflight pied. So, in my opinion, they are: Single factor type II yellowface cobalt dominant pied and Single factor type II yellowface mauve clearflight pied Regarding the 'pastel' bird, I don't see what you see--opaline, cinnamon, spangle. I'm seeing: Single factor type II yellowface sky greywing. I think the 'cinnamon' you are seeing is the effect of the yellow pigment mingling with the grey. From photo to photo there's considerable difference in the depth of the grey in the wing pattern and head barring. Had I only seen the lighter examples, I might have said this bird's a dilute rather than greywing. Having said that, greywings and dilutes are commonly mistaken for each other. Hezz is this how you see it?

Thanks I have absolutely no idea and I'm colourblind, no chance really Can I ask which one is mauve and which cobalt? I've added photos with better lighting but they were not camera happy today! Any idea if the pastel is a girl or boy?

The pied with the nearly solid grey-colored chest and abdomen is the mauve clearflight pied.
Regarding the gender of the greywing, once again there is variation in cere color from photo to photo, but in the two head-on shots, it looks like a hen to me.

The clearflight pied is definitely a male but I can't see the cere well enough in any of the photos to give an opinion on the dom pied. tretinker, if using your mobile you can add photos by using desktop mode, if needed in future.

She is beautiful, she is a good flyer too very graceful. We think the one with sky for belly is her partner because they are adorable together currently sat atop one of their homes chatting to one another. I have previously added using my phone in desktop mode but last night and this morning it kept defaulting back to the home page without posting, it was very strange!

Great thanks! I'm going to say 'she' for the little pastel, its actually really difficult her cere does seem to change colour by the minute!
