My newest english is the only bird I've owned in my life to hide in the lamp shade (its like a plastic upside down half bowl) and they literally climb into the food bowls and sits. Scratches around and then just plops and eats. Always chases the other birds. Drags all the toys to the edge and over the cage (they spend the day free flight or on top of their cage that has a gym) and generally just onery. Pecks at the others, but seems to have bonded to our aussie. We thought this was a girl, but because the cere was so pink, we were told boy so now they are with the boys. But I'm beginning to wonder. Also the cere is really white now. Is thia normal? Its really funny but also, not a behavior I've seen in the others at all. Thank you.

That's a hen and it sounds very much like nesting behaviour.

Well, shoot. We let her play all day with the boys. I figured she was leaning towards hen because my Normal keeps trying to mount. Thankfully she refuses and chases him. But, she is just now losing her bars. Is there anything I need to do to ensure she is OK? I havent been able to find this answer. Can non brooding birds gestate? I don't know the proper term. I only have "get pregnate" and lay an egg so young? Is it even possible to do this at her age? Should she never be allowed to play with the other boys? I suspected girl, but as I said I showed pics to every site I knew and everyone was overwhelmingly saying Boy cause the Cere was pink. So now I just wanna be sure I am safe.

This was the progression of the cere when we first got her. We got her at 3 weeks and hand fed until 6. We bought her on May 12th. It went from uniformly pink, to purple, to white.

You can keep mixed sexes of budgies together without necessarily breeding. Make sure there is nothing in the cage that may be construed as a nesting site, but if it makes you feel better move her back over to be with the other hens.
Easy to see from these photos how a mistake could be made to call her a boy. I would have said the same if shown only a couple of these photos on their own.
