I bought two java multi-perches because I don't have a garden and I don't know a lot about trees, plus I thought they looked nice. Bertie seems to love them and enjoys hopping from twig to twig. He has access to his food dish and water bottle, but his cage seems quite full with perches now.
What do you think?
Edit: The one at the bottom is for him to jump when he's playing on the floor of the cage. The Hagen Vision are quite deep.

Agree. I'd take one out and change the two around every week or two so that he isn't looking at the same furniture all the time. Get a few more of either the shorter perches or something to go straight across or across the corners, or maybe a platform perch.

Thanks Hezz. I do have a platform but he doesn't like it. I'll take one out as you suggest. I may get one of the flexible rope perches to go across and then ring the changes.

Watch for any chewing if you do get a rope perch.

Watch for any chewing if you do get a rope perch. He has a rope spiral thingy which he doesn't chew. He does do other things with it though 🙄

He may not now, but don't stop being vigilant. Loki had a hammock (not one of those horrid fluffy things, just a little piece of pillow case) that he left alone for almost 24 months and then started to bite holes in it.

Cheers Hezz, I will be careful, it's as well to know what sort of things to look out for.
