Hi everyone, This little budgie just showed up in our local animal services. The list the bird as being male, although it looks to be fairly young (and I've seen females with light blue ceres, which I'm leaning towards this being the case). I'd prefer a male, but it's not a deal breaker. I'll still have to check to see the bird is still available, but was wondering if anyone could clear up what the gender might be?
The only description of the bird is that s/he is very friendly, and likes to sit on their hand.

I wasn't sure how young, but now that you mention it, I'm guessing around (or under) 3-4 months? He looks like he's missing a few feathers above his cere (possible first moult?). |
