Just a little update on how things are with the boys now. I think Charlie is doing pretty well. He still doesn't appear ill and his weight is up to 37g (3g increase in last 2 weeks), so I certainly don't feel he is suffering too much. He seems quite content in his cage really, sitting on his mirror perch and having naps. The pattern has become that I let Charlie out of his cage most days (if I see he has had a good amount to eat beforehand) so that he can have time with Tony and get a change of scene. This seems to be good for both of them. But after an hour or two it becomes obvious that Charlie is tiring, and he needs to get back to having food and water nearby so it is back to the cage. This is easy to do if he is in one of the other cages, less so if he is on one of the outside perches as he panics at the last minute and ends up on the floor with me apologising and pleading with him to just let me help! Tony's breeder doesn't have any baby boys available at the moment but there are wee ones still in the nest so we'll see. photo up load

Like everyone else has said, lovely pictures of two content boys. Glad Charlie is enjoying himself. birdguhl How did you upload full size pictures? I tried the technique that Marianne Marlow suggested - I think I did what she suggested which is to put the picture in a Word document and post from there but it didn't work for me. It wouldn't post from a Word document and copy & paste didn't work either. Sorry for the off topic question.

Oh I don't think I have ever suggested that! I upload the image, then open this bit in a new tab Then right click "copy image location" and paste it between the image tags [img] [/img]

tweetiepiesmom and jellybean, on PostImage I use the 'hotlink for forums' link and this gives me the full-size image. To begin with I was using 'thumbnail for forums' one and this was the small version. Hope that works for you too. blue48 - yes Charlie is blue. The boys are really basking in all your lovely comments - thanks all!!

Odd as whichever option I choose, I get a very small photo!

Hmm - I have just taken this pic on my phone to check if it is related to original image size as the others are taken with my big camera...
