The gang are well and truly settled back home. We've been back for just over a month now.
George is the oldest at 8 years old. Followed by Blithe at 6 years 8 months, Lucy at 3 years 10 months, Bertie at 1 year 2 months (estimate). Daisy, Colin, Iris and Billy are estimated at 1 year 1 month, they could be older than this or younger, I really don't know.
At the moment, the hens Lucy, Daisy and Iris are continuing to try and find nesting places, mostly in curtains, so I am having to shoo them away. Lucy had decided to start landing on my husband randomly. When I was sitting next to him yesterday, she was hanging off the door, staring at me. Bertie and Blithe continue to be good friends, feeding and preening eachother. Daisy and Colin, Lucy and George, Billy and Iris are also coupled off yellowfacedviolet mutations? Some are easy, but some I don't have a clue about.

Love your flock, Marianne Marlow! Lucy seems to be quite the character - I'm thinking George is not doing his job fully! Your Bertie holds his head like my Buddy, sort of chin stuck out, so cute. Good that its home sweet home for all.

Where did that month go? Seems to have flown by but I guess it didn't feel the same for you Marianne Marlow unfortunately. So glad you are all settled now. Your flock are beautiful - it's so nice to meet them all

Lovely photos. I'm glad they've all settle back in. Is that coriander they're eating? My boys haven't tried that yet.

Questions:
Does Iris have a white patch at the back of her head?
Is Daisy solid yellow or are there some faint markings on her wings? Eyes are black, or plum?
Is Bertie's face white or pale yellow?

yellowfacedviolet We played a while back but were mostly stabbing in the dark with varying levels of knowledge and experience.

We've had a go before but we were unsure! Yes, iris has a white patch. Daisy is solid yellow with red eyes Bertie's face is yellow. 😊 Questions: Does Iris have a white patch at the back of her head? Is Daisy solid yellow or are there some faint markings on her wings? Eyes are black, or plum? Is Bertie's face white or pale yellow?

It was a very, lets say - "challenging" month.. Where did that month go? Seems to have flown by but I guess it didn't feel the same for you Marianne Marlow unfortunately. So glad you are all settled now. Your flock are beautiful - it's so nice to meet them all

Yes, it's coriander. They don't seem to like it as much as Dill and Basil, but they still like to bathe in it. Lovely photos. I'm glad they've all settle back in. Is that coriander they're eating? My boys haven't tried that yet.

Lovely pictures, but how embarrassing for Blithe's bum I'm happy they're all settled in. Where did that month go? I haven't tried coriander either. Basil seems to be flavour of the month for my boy and the occasional nibble of watercress.

I was just having a look at Daisy's back and I noticed that she is not yellow all over like I first thought. She has white flight feathers and her back is a sort of odd faded green colour. I am pretty sure that her eyes are red though. Oh also her face is a brighter yellow than the rest of her. Sorry about the photo she doesn't stay still for pictures. Questions: Does Iris have a white patch at the back of her head? Is Daisy solid yellow or are there some faint markings on her wings? Eyes are black, or plum? Is Bertie's face white or pale yellow?
