My vote is for a grey dark green spangle, as his cheek patches appear to be grey. yellowfacedviolet Single or double factor spangle?

Not cooperating with having his photo taken here. Too interested in eating my phone. The colour of his cheek patches is more accurate in the other picture. So a light blue/grey, rather than dark as it appears here. But this shows there are little white feathers in them too.

Love Barney's little friend in the first picture! He's very pretty - color combinations that I don't often see.

My vote is for a grey dark green spangle, as his cheek patches appear to be grey. yellowfacedviolet Single or double factor spangle? Single factor spangle. A double factor would be a solid yellow budgie with none of the markings that give spangle its name. It would look for all the world like a Lutino except for the eyes.
I agree, @sillycat84, with your call, though the cheek patches could also be a result of the spangle mutation. That said, Grey Dark Green Spangle nails it, I believe.
Good lookin' fella, Barney is.

Barney has gorgeous colouring. I love his white cheek splashes and wing tips.
