Enough variety for one day?

Yuki's currently dozing but hopefully I can get some photos of him trying things later.

Speaking of which, when I offer seed or millet he is now occasionally playing with my fingers. His tongue feels so strange against my fingertips!


Edit: Yuki has been exploring the veg buffet. Leafy greens are definitely the favourites.












Meanwhile, Indie...



He spends a lot of time calling, particularly when out of the cage, and I don't know why.


Second edit: And then I happen to look up and spot Yuki tugging Indie’s wing half open by the flights. Indie really needs to give Yuki a bop sometimes...

Indie will come around eventually I'm sure. But it's funny - reminds me of an introvert and an extrovert in the same room. Indie is just hanging back making sure everything is safe. Let the "wild child" test everything first lol

Ellie Hopefully he will. He's currently sat right beside Yuki as Yuki chews the grass but is still showing no signs of interest. He appears yo be watching the room instead. Even after Yuki just nipped his foot and made him move a couple of inches sideways.

Now Indie's waiting to be allowed back in the cage.


Edit: I let Indie back in because he's happier there, but kept Yuki out. Yuki is now going mad to get in whilst Indie is just preening contentedly. I was hoping Yuki would be a good influence on Indie about coming out, playing and eating veggies, but thus far Indie is uninterested still and Yuki has gotten worse about coming out because he wants to be whichever Indie is, which is mostly in.
