Hi everyone, I need some help please determining whether I have a boy and girl or boy and boy. I checked some images and posts over the internet but I was left more confused to be honest. On the right there is Max with a darker blue cere while on the left there is Sunni with a light purple cere. Can anyone help me out to determine their gender please?

It does look like Max is a boy. It will help the experts if you can get a closer picture of Sunni's cere in natural light looking directly at the camera. I guess she's not a model trained to do poses for the camera! I love her coloring - both very sweet looking birdies.

I would say Max Is definitely a boy and I think Sunni a girl, but I am not an expert either and the light isn’t good.

Both look like boys to me. The cere is usually purple just before it turns blue in that mutation.

Two boys in my estimation, as well. Great photo.

Hi all,
Thank you all for replying!
According to your information I gathered, I am quite sure they are both boys, in fact what @marianne Marlow stated makes sense for me.
I managed to find a female (I HOPE - Pet shop owner seemed very knowledgeable and budgies were separated according to gender) the cere is just slighty blue with a hint of brown but she is certainly to young to tell we will see in a few months.
