I knew I recognised it, but I had to google - Macbeth. “Where shall we three meet again in thunder, lightning, or in rain? When the hurlyburly 's done, when the battle 's lost and won” Quite appt for the banner. "When shall we three meet again ..." Good work, sweetpea.

Ah, look at my boys! And dearly departed Dalai. They look like they are cooking up trouble. I studied Macbeth at school & think myself lucky - I could have got one of the more difficult plays! The banner was done awhile ago & I kept entering it, so it's a lesson in not giving up!
Thanks to all who voted!

My year at primary school performed a Midsummer Night's Dream, then we got Romeo and Juliet in Year 9 and Macbeth for GCSEs. Think they wanted to turn us into Shakespeare fans! The banner looks awesome, nicely done!

Wow, I studied Macbeth too. They must have rolled it out for all of the O Level and GCSE courses for years on end!

"When shall we three meet again ..." An emerging theme, perhaps? We've got Fall covered with The Scottish Play; then there's "The Winter's Tale"; "Twelfth Night" for the special holiday banner; and for summer it's obviously "A Midsummer Night's Dream." Spring is tricky--"Julius Caesar" is set in springtime, what with its Ides of March climax.

... "that will be e'er set of Sun, where the place? Upon the heath, there we go to meet Macbeth."
Macbeth was bloodthirsty enough to grab my attention. Loved the witches scenes; this was a favourite:
“Eye of newt, and toe of frog, Wool of bat, and tongue of dog, Adder's fork, and blind-worm's sting, Lizard's leg, and owlet's wing,— For a charm of powerful trouble, Like a hell-broth boil and bubble. Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn, and caldron bubble.”
