Hi Haiths tonic seed is usually recommended for budgies who are breeding or recovering from illness or are underweight. It has recently had a particularly high proportion of groats which are very high in fat. Is there a particular reason why you want to feed it to your birds?

I give Pip tonic seed once a week and leave his fruit, herbs and veg in as well.
