One of our birds is sick, puffed up and sleeping all the time so we took him to the vet today where she gave him 2 medicines and said to put 3 drops of each in his water for a week, but now we can’t reach her and we were wondering if that’s the only water we should offer him (the one with the medicines) or should we give him plain water as Well? Your help would be greatly appreciated

Hi lemonoraYes you must only give water with the medicines in as if he works out there is one without it he could avoid the medicines altogether. Also you might want to avoid fresh foods during this time because he is on medication. Are you able to tell us what he's been given? Good luck hope he gets better soon
