yeah, That's what I mean. I don't have the parrot version. where they give you directions, but I'll be looking those up.
I'm sure they'll be fine outside. The breeder I know in LA has them outside and he said he gets racoons, but he leaves his huge dogs outside to scare them off. \ I live in Northern cali too. Small world. I'm at the state capital , so we probably get similar weather. If your budgie camp outs go well, I might look into setting up the same thing myself in my backyard.

I live in the mountains in Humboldt county, so we do get snow here. Our dogs stay in for the night unless we’re out with them because we also have mountain lions. I’ll let you know how it all goes for sure though! I’m pretty excited about the aviary. It’s going to be a lot of hard work. 💪

We handle eggs and babies all the time. Once the babies have hatched almost every day to clean out their next boxes. When I was like 8-9 years old(11 now)we had Budgie eggs but when my mom tried to clean the cage there she accidentally touched the eggs and then the next thing we knew after she finished cleaning they were broken because the female broke it ):
