When I got it off the breeder she said it was female, but I'm not sure. Never come across a budgie with hardly any colour on their cere. I see some blue and brown. Maybe I'll be the first budgie owner to have possession of a heshe.

I'm not an expert, but it looks like a young hen as there seems to be white circles round the nostrils. However, as I said, Im not an expert

It is a female but it is not ready to breed. It looks quite a bit younger than 12 months old. When it comes into breeding condition the cere will go brown.
