It will take him time if heās come from being a singleton to a flock. Do you know how long he was with the hospital person?

Marianne, your flock is making me broody! Fortunately can't go anywhere to see any birdies, and things are good as they are currently.

Iām permanently broody. Even though my flat is so much bigger now, I couldnāt take the chance. But also I donāt have anyone who would take him if Iām ever away. My dad used to

That's a shame, ffiscool. I feel like my partner and I are both single bird people at heart, we like the higher likelihood of interaction for company and not just because we're waving millet around, but there are positives to a flock too, one being that as long as you have the space and can afford them then you can pick up the latest little cutie who's caught your eye.

Thanks for all the compliments on my flock. They are a good bunch of birdies and very welcoming to newcomers - comes with having a bigger flock I guess! Peter still likes to sit on the large swing up high and keep watch. Although he still gets on my hand for me to put him in the cage and isn't scared of me at all. He spends time with both George and Bertie, just sitting together. He's a timid sort of bird and very chilled out, but I did see him beak at Daisy for getting too close to him and has also moved other birds out of the way to get to food Reminds me of Roswell in temperament.

Welcome, Peter! He looks lovely and bet he can't believe that he's landed so superbly on his feet after all he's been through. Well done, Marianne!
What's your head count now?

samwisegNow that explains why I had a feeling I had seen him before. You're so right, he's Marley's twin

Good grief Marianne Marlow, I didn't realise I'd stolen two names from you, George and Bertie. We must both have good taste
