Charlie had a heavy moult that finished about a week before Xmas , he had the usual moulting symptoms....quiet etc. He is now eating well, very chatty, his droppings are normal, but he still doesn’t want to come out of his cage to play. Should I worry ?

I think he just might be feeling safe and comfy inside.. Mine did that too with the open cage door. After they recovered from the moult and started being super active they came out of the cage..

Have you tried bringing him out yourself?

His cage is open most of the day and he will sit on the door and talk , when I have offered my hand to him he has jumped back inside. But last night he actually jumped onto my hand and flew on top of his cage and played for a little while. So hopefully he is starting to feel better.
