Love both @sillycat84, especially the feathers in the picture, what a brilliant idea!

Shirls The back of the frame completely holds them still too, so I can always open the frame up to swap the feathers, especially if any newbies come into my life.

skysmum That looks a lovely book. I got a needle felting kit for a budgie last year. I have only even made a fox though (some years ago) on a one day course. That turned out brilliantly but then there was an expert on hand to guide me the whole way. I've forgotten most of what I learned. Oh and the instructions are in Japanese 🤣. He looks such a handsome chap I'm scared to start in case I mess him up!

skysmum and blueelephant I love these! I can't wait to see your creations. I have crafting envy (although I do suspect that even if I had the book/kit I wouldn't get any further than looking at the pictures )

Lovely kits, I have never tried it. I'm afraid if I tried it I would want to do more and they amount of crafting stuff and different projects in this house is unbelievable.

Dont know if anyone else has experienced the same thing, but what with this lockdown I dont know how I would have time to do anything else because of what's going on now?! I seem to be either, drawing, learning a new language, baking bread (yes Christmas Present to the OH but he wants me to do it) And obviously trying to interact with Nubby! Does anyone else have the same thing?

I have found so much to do at home, but a lot of my time was taken up with decorator here, carpet people (still to come back and correct something). But I’ve painted chest of drawer handles and the like. I was baking cake, had to stop as I was getting fatter, lol
I’m sure I’ll run out of things to do, but not sure how I could have done all this and worked, well obviously I could, but would have taken forever.
What language? And good on you for doing it

Sounds like you've really made the most of it samwiseg and ffiscool. Not much changed in our house as we all worked from home anyway - cue the guilt trips for not having loads of extra time to perform a full house deep clean/sort out the sock drawers etc I still have the ever evolving long list of 'craft projects I would like to have a go at/master/just finish so that I can pack the stuff away'

I'd like to think so willowsmum! But we are sort of in a fortunate position... because we cant work due to health reasons we dont have to venture out in these horrific times. Am only learning French ffiscool! It was the subject we were taught at school and I seemed to have a natural aptitude for it, plus got a good GCSE grade. Did wonder why I did not pursue it after school more and thought why not see if I could pick it up again as there are so many free apps around these days. I've been doing it every day without fail for just over 6 months! Am by no means fluent, but could certainly get by. And as we live in Kent we are so close to France that hopefully in the future we may get the opportunity to visit (which is most exciting) and hopefully utilise my new found skills! Would love to see everyone else's craft and other endeavours over this furloughed period too, you are all highly creative!
