Brand New Budgie

This morning one of my budgies (7 month old male) is tail bobbing slightly, and squeaking/grunting while breathing, rubbing his face in perches, and is stretching out his neck like there is something stuck in it, and not singing his morning routine (none of my birds are), though is interacting with me normally).
Does anyone have a recommendation for an avian vet in the central New Jersey area?
Unfortunately I’ve never taken any of my birds to the vet before, none of my prior birds were able to be handled enough that it was even a possibility, my capturing and transporting would be beyond stressful for them, forget the actual vet visit itself. Right now I’m having trouble finding a reputable one within driving distance.
Any advice, suggestions, or recommendations are welcome.
Update: shortly after posting this he started his morning ritual, and is acting and sounding perfectly normal. So I am now slightly less concerned this is an immediate emergency but any recommendations and advice will be most appreciated.

I'm in Manhattan where there are many options. You're likely to save a few bucks and find it more convenient and less stressful for your budgie if you chose a vet on your side of the Hudson. Here's a link to a list of a dozen avian vets in NJ.
