They were with him a little, and certainly with me in the mornings! I think they appreciate us joining in the noise making. Every time OH stopped reading, Munchy would say "Come on!", which was hilarious. That is adorable Ira!😍

He is very cute when he wants to be.
The talking definitely comes out more when interacting with us. He'll be chatting away in bird noises, I'll say something to him, and then a phrase will come out.
Bailey would probably talk again if you kept repeating those phrases to him, seeing as he seems quite peopley still.

That is interesting, since Bailey has been with just two others, instead of six, which is much quieter, he has started to come to me more and gets right up close to my mouth to listen to me talking to him, he really seems to concentrate on what im saying especially when i say the things he used to say, i opened the blinds the other day an said "Oooh it's a grey day today" he came running over to listen as that was something he used to say. I will have to work on it and see what happens, i still have the list from Fran of things he used to say. Love the budgie weather reports skysmum! One of Willow's phrases is 'It's a misty morning!' I didn't actively teach him it but I must open the curtains to enough of those days in Scotland for him to pick it up himself I love it when they get as close as possible and concentrate so hard on what you are saying. The bedtime stories must be very soothing @sillycat84 , no matter what the subject material. Munchy's encouragement to 'Come on' made me laugh
