Hi - we bought 2 budgies from petstore. They told us the budgies were less than 4 months old. We saw them preening, kissing and sleeping together and assumed they were a bonded pair. I think - bird #1 with mostly white cere (with hint of blue) is female ibb.co/MDXtvk7- bird #2 with light purple/pink cere is male. He sings and plays more than bird #1. Is also less skittish ibb.co/mbny7dNibb.co/R6XXKzw- is bird #2 younger than bird #1?

Very cute little budgies. I'm not an expert but it does look like they are both very young and that #1 is a little girl and #2 is a boy. Congratulations on your new companions!
