I have noticed the little metal clip that often comes with bought cuttlefish can rust and I saw a plastic clip with some cuttlefish on a forum photo in the past couple of days but for love nor money can I find that photo! I wondered if anyone can recommend a decent safe clip that can be used for cuttlefish please? I have some metal ones I use for hanging a little millet now and again but can anyone recognise the sort of clip that wraps around the cuttlefish and clips to the cage? I’ve looked online all evening and can only see metal ones like this one:  |

ariella, I use these - www.ebay.co.uk/itm/122910659085They are not as sturdy as some white ones I have had for years but are difficult to get hold of - but I think the above would do the job. I also use them to hold veg and fruit

Thank you all. I’ve just done a lovely order for a cuttlefish holder, plastic clips and while I was at it a couple of stainless steel bells, a stainless steel food holder for a bit of enrichment and a new toy with stainless steel bells. I love shopping for my animal members of the family. :-)

Yes, ariella it is so much fun shopping for the budgies. Try sprouting and growing food (herbs, grass) for yours - a whole other level of fun! I also have several of the plastic clips like the ones birdguhl mentioned. I use them everyday to clip fresh food to my guys cage. |

I often have a row of egg cups sat along the windowsill with the top of carrots in them. They grow so quick! I spend my money on my animals all the time. Now my children are older and working, I find I’m always looking buying for the animals and I love to come up with different types of enrichment for them. It’s rewarding especially as they bring so much joy. |
