Not sure there will be one. No pet does what you want when you want Completely agree. My whole daily routine is fixed by my animal family. I wouldn’t have it any other way though. @birdlover123 , are there not many predators in Malaysia that would be a huge risk to birds outside in the day and the night? I know a civit is nocturnal but how about the monkeys and snakes? I’d worry about a domestic cat here in England, let alone birds of prey, magpies, foxes and the like. No monkeys and snakes are very uncommon, The only real predator is around here is cats and I've always known the Civet to eat fruits.

With similar previous incidents with your previous birdies & cat, it would been better to keep them inside always.. The vivid description makes me so sad..

Yes, if you insist on having more pets in the future I hope you keep them indoors where they will be safe. They deserve better than to die to predators and the elements because they were left outside when they could have been moved to safety, or kept safe inside the entire time.
