Breeding isn’t for everyone, and I, for one, am happy to be reading a post from someone who doesn’t wish to go down that track. . There are usually more problems associated with breeding than there are with not. If they are all getting along fine now, why upset the status quo? . Occasionally you might get a hen who gets broody and wants somewhere to nest, but if there is nothing in the aviary to be considered a nesting site, generally that passes over fairly quickly. If there haven’t been any problems so far, very likely there won’t be any later on, either.

Thank for the reply Hezz, i check the aviary regularly in all the corners ,i dont think there anywhere for the to lay eggs.like i said i got 3 boys and 3 girls but to be honest there isnt enough room for any more (although the size says i could fit 10 in ) my best guess is some are more than a years old but 2 are only about 10months . They look fit and healthy ,they enjoy the radio and i`ve not had night problems yet so all seems ok and i`m gonna leave it at that cheers Tony

Good luck with not breeding; as long as the hens get that memo and mark it as read. .
