I've made a big decision and left her in the big cage tonight rather than putting her in her new smaller cage or the box. Hope I don't regret it.
I put a rope perch at the front for her because I wonder if the reason that she's still a lot is that the perches hurt her poor feet. She's currently sitting on a platform.

Has she always had trouble getting about and flightless Marianne or is it a new thing?

He said it was in the last month that she had trouble walking or walked slower as he put it. He did not say if she had always been flightless or not. He wasn't even sure of her age, but it said 5 years on the advert. Has she always had trouble getting about and flightless Marianne or is it a new thing?

Hmmm poor little soul, i was just reading how you came about her.
It does look like a deficiency of some sort, if she's been over bred. Maybe a drop of calcivet in her water and or some vitamin's.

That's what I think too. Have been giving her calcivet and tried her with basil, dill and carrot, wont eat 'em! red millet is a hit. Hmmm poor little soul, i was just reading how you came about her. She looks very lively and bright in the eyes and doesn't have sick lemon shaped eyes or anything.
She is so tiny and delicate.

Also I have picked her up a few times when I changed the cage bottom and had to put her in the carry box. Doesn't even bite, but did run away from me!

Maybe when she sees the others tucking in she will try, if it is calcium related they can ran recover quite well with good food and supplements, she's certainly come to the right place bless her

I hope she does, I'd love it if she could fly too. At some point I'll have to let others in to her lair to see her, maybe she'll perk up when she's with them It's not going to be safe for her to come out if she can't fly. skysmum how much calcivet would you use in 50ml of water which is about what I put in the water bowl? and for how long? Currently they have 5ml in 500ml of water that gets shared out in all their water containers and big bowl, twice a week.

She's probably had enough of boys M You do have to be careful with calcivet, you can overdose. I always remember Barry saying he uses two 5ml teaspoons in one litre of water and keep in the fridge, only give 1 or 2 days a week.
