Hello guys, i wanted to ask is there a spesific calender for breeding in budgies? I heard that during summer time breeding might be dangerous for babies even embryo may get dry and die due to hot weather. Is it true, should i seperate my female and male budgie? And which months are better for breeding*

Hi Sanakir, I wouldnt say there was a specific month thats best and in the UK most breeders pair up November time but not because its the best time , its so the chicks can be ringed with the new years rings which come out on Jan 1st. Cold here then so not the best time but we make the conditions right for them to breed. Too dry a humidity in the breeding/bird room would likely be the cause of what you describe so have to keep a good check on that along with the temp in the room.
