They are feather cysts Gubbins due to a feather growing internally , i remove them but take care there can be a lot of blood if not done correctly Hey I’m new here too, I’m not sure if anyone will see this as that conversation was about 9 years ago, but my English budgie has a cyst on his wing also, and there aren’t any vets near we can take him too. So it possible to remove it myself ?😬and advice would be great thank you 😊

I agree with jellybean, you'd need experience with this to be able to make sure it was safe to remove. Best left to an avian vet. Can you post a photo of the cyst?

Certainly looks like a feather cyst. It may grow and then burst on its own, or he will peck at it; it may just go down on its own, but either way they do have a habit of coming back again if not lanced and cleaned out. That usually requires a vet.
