Oh, poor baby.. I feel sad for her.. but you are doing the best you can.. and she has a better life already.. 🧡
Hope that she could fly around, even if a little bit, in future...

However, it is good to see her moving about and curious about her visitors. It is still early and hopefully a supplement will be recommended that will improve her.

I hope she is able to fly. Dean Stockwell gets frustrated that he can't fly with Dexter. Luckily Randolph Carter isn't bothered for flying so stays in the cage most of the time.

Bless her, she looks like she’d love to fly off and join them but it’s great that they pop by and see her and she gets her special time out playing. She must enjoy their company and looks like she was enjoying her play with Iris the other day. She’s looking so much more alert and happier since you got her, so despite not flying her life is definitely much better.

Love her, she so want's to do it, you never know she may surprise you yet Marianne. My little Freddy couldn't fly after a wing injury but she could out run and out climb any bud any day as could old Jo with his FM, they adapt so well and Penny is already showing signs of improvement

When I picked Penny up to give her some out of cage time, I felt something spiky, so I examined her. She has somewhere between 5 and ten snapped off feathers where her tail coverts/tail would be

Poor baby! Are brittle feathers that snap off a sign of FM or is it just a severe lack of calcium and she hasn't had the supplement long enough to overcome it?

I believe it is a FM sign I am not sure if it's also a sign of lack of calcium. Anyone else know? Poor baby! Are brittle feathers that snap off a sign of FM or is it just a severe lack of calcium and she hasn't had the supplement long enough to overcome it?
