My 4 year old budgie is health and I feed him Brown’s gourmet foraging feast, always have. Sometimes he cranes his neck like he is choking and then almost like a sneeze he blasts out several unhulled canary grass seeds and also white proso millet. Maybe 3 or four each. Is he doing this out of a desire to feed me or is he having an issue with these two seed types? There is quite a lot of these seeds in the mix, I strained them out and am feeding him the remainder of the mix for now. Any thoughts? Thanks

Does this only happen when he is with you? It doesn’t sound like a feeding action at all, so I doubt it is that.
Is he a pig when he eats? Are these some of his favourite seeds? How often is “sometimes”?

He does it frequently, when with me or on the window sill when he is perched there. He doesnt apear to be a pig other than trying to eat whatever we eat. We are careful not to let him eat bad stuff.

I don’t have any answers, sorry. Check that the seed mix isn’t dusty at all. That could make him sneeze.

I had sneezing issues with mine due to the seed mix quality - had read about fungal spores back then.. apart from that, mine didn't react well to some shredding material - specifically allergic to one kind of wood. It was a trial and error to remove it and see. A friend had a similar issue with a wild grass - budgie was allergic to that grass..
You could check if your birdie is allergic to something he eats from the seed mix or otherwise.
