The breeder said Max is a spangle but I didn’t realise he could be single or double factored.

I tried looking it up but seems they can hide other mutations. He’s got quite a lot of yellow, but from what I’ve read, he’s a white base because of the blue areas

I’m guessing (I’m always guessing with this stuff) if the breeder is correct then he has to be a double factor and a yellow face. Type 1 is my guess. There may be other mutations involved, I’m useless when the genetics get complicated.

Mazel-tov on the new member of the family! He's lovely. He does appear to be a SF Spangle Recessive Pied. I suspect there's a dilution mutation in the mix as well--I'd guess clearwing.
I'm getting only the slightest hint of yellow on my monitor. If that's there in life, then he's likely also a SF Yellowface Type I
I'm having trouble determining from the photos whether he's a cobalt or mauve. Do you know? Did the breeder mention it?
So putting it all together, Max appears to be a:
SF Yellowface Type I, SF Spangle, Clearwing, Cobalt (or Mauve) Recessive Pied

Thank you.
Wow, a list to live up to
I think she mentioned a mauve but wasn’t sure she meant max.
In the flesh he’s more yellow than the picture, especially in his face, tinges on his body at the front and definitely mixed with the blue on his back

I find the mutations so fascinating although it takes me a few times to read and understand them, but I’m getting there albeit very slowly. Max is quite the little mutant!

I’m not seeing single factor spangle markings on theses feathers at all. I’d be asking his breeder again, ffiscool. She will know his lineage as well.

I’m not seeing single factor spangle markings on theses feathers at all. Hmmm, I do. Granted, they are diluted by what I suspect is clearwing factor and are a mere blush of what normal spangle markings would look like, and they are further reduced in quantity by recessive pied, but I sure see 'em.

So.... roll drums........... the breeder says he is:
Yellow Face, cobalt blue, clearwing spangle dominant pied - she said a few mixes in his genetics.
