There are some great photos there, love the sunbird too. The owl looks like something out of a horror movie blended in to Alfred Hichcock’s “Birds’. Very spooky!

This unfortunate Tawny Owl flew into my sons window….. It was alright and flew off but left this imprint…..

This unfortunate Tawny Owl flew into my sons window….. It was alright and flew off but left this imprint….. WOW!! That is some imprint. Glad it was OK.

It’s probably just finished eating something, or been cleaning its feet. To me it looks like it is ready to throw a punch! That makes sense I guess. It's been holding something maybe. I'd definitely not mess with it whatever it's up to!

Just a heads up - if anyone ever is able to catch a bird after it hits a window, please take it to your local wildlife care center if you have one!
Just like a human after a car accident, a bird may be temporarily stunned and then fly off, seemingly unharmed, but most actually have internal bleeding or concussions and end up dying elsewhere, or becoming prey.

My Son heard the bang and went outside to look, and he saw the Owl fly off into the distance, so really nothing he could do…..fingers crossed it was alright. 🤞🏻
