Budgerigar Calendar for the Forum

Morning all

Just wanted to say thank you to all members for giving me the opportunity to design, print and publish the forum's calendar for these past 4 or 5 years.

But after much thought, I have decided to finally retire as your calendar creator and (hopefully) pass the baton on to someone else if they so wish to do so.

It has been a great pleasure to do for you all, however my mind is not as it used to be (lol) and feel that this perhaps is time to step down.

Thank you all for your input, your photos and suggestions...all of you have been great!

And if you would like to volunteer, then please do so here! And I look forward to future designs

samwiseg, thank you for this year’s beautiful calendar.
It’s really generous of you to spend the time on it for so many years.

I would be quite happy to take it on. I do a yearly photobook of the family and quite like designing them so I think I could create the calendar, provided there are enough photo submissions to do so.
If you can let me know how you get each calendar sent to individuals from the printer rather than ordering them all to me, that would be great. I’d hate to take responsibility for them all being delivered here and then one not reaching its destination and being lost in the post.

Equally happy if anyone else wants to do it, but if no one wants to, I’ll take the baton and hope I can live up to your standards.

How wonderful of you to volunteer ariella! samwiseg I have so enjoyed my calendar and gifting them to family friends. I've recorded my guys' weight on the calender so can just flip quickly through to confirm that their weights have been steady. Thank you!

We will miss your creative genius Sam, but totally understand that it is time to “retire”.

You’re all welcome, it’s nice to give a little something back to such a warm and caring community here on the forum. It’s not much but I could see how enthusiastic everyone was re this year’s calendar and it’d be a shame not to continue and have our precious feathered family members given star billing for each month.
So please get practising your photos in landscape.
I’ll do my very best to ensure you have a lovely calendar for 2023. Goodness, I remember that date looking really futuristic!
