Totally. They’re amongst others, so it must be nice for them in that way. Just to feel safe etc

I do love the picture of Max going over to say hello to Penny - it says so much about their personalities.

Max has a lovely personality. Even my husband was playing with him today

Ah that’s nice. He does love to play. Because I wasn’t working, I spent a lot more time with him on the floor than I ever could with Bailey, and playing in general, taking turns with the ball. I’d like to think I might have shaped him a bit on top of him being nice anyway

Oh yes, your influence on him with all the playing and time you spent with him is probably why he's so sociable. He spends most of his time sitting and playing with other budgies, but he will randomly come over and land on me to get attention Ah that’s nice. He does love to play. Because I wasn’t working, I spent a lot more time with him on the floor than I ever could with Bailey, and playing in general, taking turns with the ball. I’d like to think I might have shaped him a bit on top of him being nice anyway

He's an adorable little guy.
When a budgie flies to you or wants to stay and sit with you is just the best feeling, knowing that little soul trusts you and can feel at ease in your company.
Who needs to win the lottery.

Me! Imagine all the things I could get for the budgies!! He's an adorable little guy. When a budgie flies to you or wants to stay and sit with you is just the best feeling, knowing that little soul trusts you and can feel at ease in your company. Who needs to win the lottery.

Marianne Marlow, you give those birdies all they could possibly want....Without a lottery win.

ariella Yes Penny did briefly enjoy trying to throw mirrors. Trouble is, Iris is such a horror that she will pull mirrors off or constant bash them against the cage. I just feel bad for Penny (and Lyra) just being in a cage all day long, but I suppose they do interact with the others still. I thought maybe if you had a range of mirrors on the floor when she’s out perhaps she would be more tempted to play. I'm sure Penny and Lyra are glad of one another’s company and the others seem to come and visit them from your photos.
