If you are using your phone to post photos, go right to the bottom of the forum and select desktop mode. When I try to enlarge the photos they really are too blurry for me to make much out, although I can see that the cage does look much less cluttered than the previous day’s. budgerigarsforum.proboards.com/thread/17937/uploading-photos-2In the room they are going to live their days in, have a perching station away from the cage that is all theirs - somewhere that is at a distance for good exercise, somewhere they can begin to see as another safe place to sit, preen. At this stage I wouldn’t put food and water there as you could have all sorts of bother getting them back into the cage at night. Food kept in the cage is a great incentive for going home late in the day as budgies do like a final graze before nightfall.

You're right Hezz they do like a graze before nightfall. Bertie and George loiter by their seed troughs for me to change the seed and they pretty much dive in as soon as the seed is put in.
