I love mine samwiseg it's the first thing I reach for as soon as I feel a cold coming on. I buy the saline solutions though. Great to see you back on the forum Sam.

I actually read suesbird’s comment as netti-tea originally but then thought that doesn’t really make sense. 😄 I would like to try a netti pot, but can guess the reaction I’d get from OH. He’s rather conservative around things like that.

Hezz, if you suffer from sinus problems at all, BUY ONE.

My OH saw a friend last week who ha dbeen quite poorly after Covid last year, only 53, when the OH saw him after a couple of months he couldn't believe the difference in how he spoke and sounded. Much clearer and his sinuses so much better. A herbalist recommend it to him and he said how much better he felt.

Me too jellybean! The OH and myself use it as soon as we get signs of a cold. Hezz you really should try it, the relief is wonderful! My OH suffers with sinus issues so just loves his. We use these ones: images.app.goo.gl/B4iXKP4Jy7ssGMrBAI can't imagine him drinking nettle tea though lol!!!

I've just gone onto Amazon, there are different designs now than when I bought mine, but I'm sure they all do the same thing.
I haven't read a single bad review, everyone is amazed at how good this is even after the first use.
Think I've had mine for about 10 years now, love, love, love it 😁

I do not have one but thought about it. I have read about people getting bacteria and amoeba infections from using them. Maybe they were not cleaning them properly after use or were using questionable water?

I have been reading through the comments on this thread and am going to get the Neilmed thing. I looked int he chemist this weekend but they were sold out. Husband has gone out and will keep on the look out for it. I have terrible sinus issues and just got over a migraine that I had for a week which was very painful in the sinuses. I try and clear out my nose every morning as it gets very blocked and sometimes it bleeds Hope this stuff helps. Ah also I have what the GP called "post nasal drip" and occasionally cough up balls of mucous. Too much info?

My OH has Post Nasal Drip too and this does help it as it tends to dry out the mucas more being salt or saline solution that is used

I guarantee you won't regret it Marianne, if my sinuses feel bunged up in the morning it's the first thing I reach for. Just had a look on Amazon for the salt sachets, I'm sure the last time I bought mine they were more expensive than this..... I try to use boiled water in mine, cooled, but if I don't have time to wait for it to cool I just add some cold. Make sure the water is TEPID. I'm sure you will feel the benefits Marianne.

I felt like I was drowning when I tried it. Not a pleasant sensation!!
But my sinuses do feel clearer.
